Please join us in welcoming Roni and Mackenzie to the Akiptan team!


Roni Rae Daly is Lakota and Chippewa Cree. She is an enrolled member of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe and remains on her homelands of the Lower Brule Nation, where she and her husband operate a farm and ranch. She is the mother of 4 children; Kennedy, Hank John, River, and Stetson Dean. She holds an Associates of Applied Science in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. Roni is currently attending Sinte Gleska University and will soon transfer to Northern State University to complete her Bachelor's degree. Roni is new to the financial services field and she is excited to cultivate relationships with Native American Ag producers in an effort to create successful ag operations within Indian country. She joins our lending team as loan officer and will be overseeing a portion of our portfolio as we continue to grow.



Mackenzie Fox is an enrolled Gros Ventre member (Assiniboine, Blackfeet, Crow descendant) of the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation in Montana. She is a 6th generation cattle rancher, having received both FSA and Montana State Junior Agriculture Loans, to purchase and run her own cattle. Mackenzie graduated from ASU Preparatory Academy in May and will be entering Arizona State University/Barrett, The Honors College this fall, majoring in Business (Communication) at the W.P. Carey School of Business. In her spare time, you can find Mackenzie in any given rodeo arena between Arizona and Montana. She is a 3x Indian National Finals Rodeo Qualifier in the Jr. Barrel Racing, a UBRC “Big Time” Young Gun division champion in 2021, a Sherry Cervi Youth Championships division champion in 2020, she has qualified for the Northern Rodeo Association Finals in the Jr. Barrel Racing in 2017, she has also competed in many other barrel racing and rodeo associations, winning numerous buckles and awards to show for her efforts. Mackenzie’s long-term goal is to combine her passion for the “Western way of life” and focus on a career in agricultural communications and advocacy through business, finance, or law. She joins our team as the summer intern for 2022 and will support specific areas within the program and loan departments.
